Could you tell if they’d been searched? That is my big issue with buying loose Nagaba packs, as they are searchable and people are setting the Umbreon packs aside and selling the rest. I’ve just been buying already assembled 9 card sets where I can ensure I get all 9, plus I can see card centering, for $15-20 over what it would cost me for 9 loose packs.

I really couldn’t say as it would be very speculative. I’ve watched videos and know people that had 20 packs directly from the Pokemon center, just to pull only one Umbreon.
I did order many lots of packs from different sellers and just combined them all together. From 110 that I received so far, I pulled 7 Umbreon cards. So partially searched maybe, or it could just be normal.
The only reason I stayed away from the complete sets is due to the prices the packs were at like 3 weeks ago. With the discounts, they were about $10 per pack and I think a full set was almost $200.

I was just wondering. When you guys calculate the price of an Item, do you leave out the shipping costs, import tax and Buyee/Tenso fees and their shipping costs?
Because 10$ a pack would be crazy cheap.

Yes I did include it. At the time with 15% discount and shipping discount I was only paying the buyee fee for full price which is cheap as is.
All you had to do is consolidate your orders (if one was from Rakuma and one was from Mercari) then use the shipping coupon for Mercari that was given out.
Roughly I was paying maybe $10.5 per pack a month ago. Now currently since the price spike, the lowest I was able to get packs for were $15.6 if I’m not mistaking. However now, I do have to pay around $23 total in shipping for what I have in storage.
So it’s still cheaper than paying $24-$26 per pack on eBay if your still interested in buying packs.

I haven’t had a shipping coupon in a while, but obviously there have been discount coupons going on all summer. Here is the guy I bought from with zero feedback and got each pack for around $10 per pack.
The shipping coupons were only for Mercari though, which is fine if you consolidate your packages with one Mercari order.

The buy backs were for the new lottery bags that were introduced. The buy backs were suspended temporarily by citing staff shortages during the release of 151. Not sure if they have been resumed or there is reduction in the entry prize.
