idk much about sports bros, but i do know that some ppl have been pumping the “star jordan” as the true rookie over the pack pulled fleer version even tho that card was printed in some dudes garage 
and that case would be the equivalent of topsun/cardass/whatever non-nintendo product even tho i would think the fleer version would be way more desirable even when it is way more common (the equivalent of 1st ed base charizard)

sealed is great coz u can sell them to the degen gamblers as if every hit would get a psa 10 when in reality its a psa 8 on average for “pack fresh”

I concur with this; an expensive PSA 8 or 9 indicates an expensive and desirable card. An expensive PSA 10 on its own no longer warrants my interest unless the pop ratio is supremely off.
I just don’t see many of these holding. Some will, but there are too many new players in the space are mistaking “rare” for “valuable.” Some of these cards were so available for so long because the interest wasn’t there as much.
I said it before, the language needs to change. Did you buy a card worth $X, or did you pay $X for a card? There’s a difference, imo.

u mean that neo blissey/ampharos/yanma/heracross cant hold at 30-60k in a 10 even when the 9s are priced at under 300 dollas surely u are mistaken

I have changed my mind now knowing that Smpratte, our glorious leader, lord, and supreme enlightened being has coined the term. I will now only use Rookie to describe Mew from Expedition (English) as well as all other 1st appearance cards in pokemon. Rookie is the cool term now. Thanks for enlightening us. I am but a simple sheep and Smpratte is my sheppard

Thats because in most cases Japanese Unlimited is more rare than Japanese 1st edition.
