The Giant eBay Garbage Thread

It is funny because in years past, when a seller would message me after I bought a card, I knew it was just them saying “Hey, this has been shipped!” etc.

But nowadays whenever I get a message, I always expect the seller to say “Here is XYZ reason I can’t ship you this card.”

I generally don’t respond in full sentences unless someone asks a question in a full sentence. Anyway, here’s another one for the block list ladies and gents.

I just had the same thing happen on Instagram. It’s wild how mad people get over not accepting their offer. I made the mistake of continuing the conversation, only to be reminded how I should have not responded.

Apparently late 2021 certs are now “old certs” to all these new flipper bros.

And backside scans of said card

ive seen ig bros call 8x and 9x certs “old”

I accepted an offer, eBay processed the payment, and I immediately get a cancellation request with the reason: “Found better price” and a note: “Sorry I just got another order accepted with a better cost and grading. Would like to cancel please”.

This is a Final Sale for a Graded Card that would go through Authentication.

Question: Realistically, is there anything I can do or should I just accept the cancellation? If I do so, can I give this buyer the gift of a non paying strike?

You can ship and there isn’t anything they can do.

Edit - If you do this though there is always a chance they say it arrived “damaged” to get a refund, however since this goes through authentication you are good as long as it arrives safety to PSA for processing.
