I’ve not vended before but have watched many many many deals and I can say pretty easily that’s the exception, not the rule. Anyone that is dragging something out like that is not your customer plain and simple. That is likely an experienced vendor, just stand firm on price while someone tries to low ball you.
I’ve reported this listing although, I highly doubt it will be taken down by eBay. Hopefully no one bids on it.
another busted flip in a good-looking slab. Ignoring the card, it’s getting hard to identify fake plastic slabs
Yeah it’s scary to see how fakes have evolved throughout the years.
I’ve considered vending before just occasionally but I think I’d lose my head if someone came up to me with the attitude that this guy has
It’s the same entitled you see from people in eBay messages. I haven’t run into someone like that while vending yet. Hoping it stays that way for a long time.
Holo 20/82 it’s the greatest misprint ever
Even going as a buyer can have it’s cringe moments. I went to a local one recently with my dad, and while waiting in line to get in, some dude tried cutting us. I very politely pointed out to him that we had all been in line for a bit already, and he started accusing my dad of cutting everyone first. My dad had been standing next to me the entire time lol.
I tried explaining to him and he just escalated the situation more and more. He started getting aggressive with his words, so I told him to shut up and stop causing problems. Then he went full victim and said “Wow dude, people really acting like this at a card convention.” ![]()
Thankfully the rest of our day was pretty pleasant and my dad enjoyed his first convention. It’s wild out there right now.
i would hate to negotiate with pokeppl irl
on ebay u can just ignore or block someone like that
Sellers Nail Care should be a red flag.
People/sellers who don’t usually sell pokemon probably still had Pokemon somewhere laying around from their childhood. Given the market I could see why they’d list them.
And some of my best buys have came from non Pokemon people, they usually have zero attachment and just want some cash. And you can offer basically anything reasonable and they’re let them go.
Good Tip. But this PSA 10 is a fake card right?
Damn , yeh definitely. Sorry I didn’t see the original post you were replying to ![]()
This is an example (picture below) of what makes the hobby unfun / inorganic / bubbly / manipulated. 20+ 1996 no rarity packs in PSA 8 condition were slowly listed on Ebay by ZandG over the past months. 14 of the packs were bought by the same 3 Ebay accounts.
Z&G confirmed those packs did not contain no rarity, as they cracked the box and opened a pack. If they had been NR, they would have sold the remaining packs off back when he was still doing box openings.
They’re also most likely to throw a 3 or 4 figure card in a bubble mailer or PWE without anything else.

shoutout to the lady who shipped me a $50 slab wrapped in cardboard in a bubble mailer inside an 8x8x8 full of packing peanuts
NICE.
Love these sellers! Really. Tho extra.
That’s Ebay Gold right there!
