That card is amazing because back in the day if you saw a Pokemon card with a 300 damage attack youâd instantly know it was a fake because no way in hell would an attack do that much.
it was a lot easier to spot the differences back in the old days!(i.e 90âs, lol!), rather than now⌠if I was a 9 year old kid in the schoolyard⌠Iâm sure they would be reluctant to see the differences and spot the fakes.
btw gary / old timers, I am aware the 90âs isnât the olden days for you guys.
If youâre talking about those intro packs, what looks like tape is actually a plastic band that keeps the cards together inside the box. Thatâs how they are packaged at the factory.
It does, however, appear that several of the cards have edge and corner wear, probably from the plastic bands being removed and put back on. (Once you take the band off, itâs really difficult to put it back on without damaging at least a few of the cards.)
