Supposedly, the guy with the 3 pikachu trophy cards, that was selling them before even getting them from Japan. Well apparently they either sold or canceled the auction.
My bet is that he lists them for International exposure, and if someone buys them, then he’ll quickly buy the auction on Yahoo Japan, then once he gets the card, he’ll ship it off to his International buyer. That’s gotta be illegal somehow
Either that, or it’s straight up his auction in Japan haha. Although the Pikas and the Tropical wind are listed by different sellers in Japan.
The reverse has happened to me before. Someone in Japan listed my English Pika in YJ for more money than what I have it listed on eBay. Obviously, he intended to hit BIN on my card if someone buys it in YJ. I wasn’t bothered because it gives the card exposure to the Japanese market. I did thought about increasing my BIN price everyday just for fun and see what he does with his price in YJ.
Its not the same seller. I asked him… And I told him that every serious collector knows of YJ so he has no chance to sell it on ebay and make a profit… He then answered that he’d stop the listing
