it means u get double f’ed by both pwcc and psa ![]()
Yeah, don’t think mechanical / “clerical” errors are eligible for the guarantee. Whoever won can get their slab reholdered with the correct label for free though
. (Can you imagine if they then knock it down a grade during the reholdering / relabeling too? Oooof lol
)
i know they arent ![]()
they not only can get it reholdered but they will be forced to if psa ever sees the slab posted publically and killes the cert ![]()
I can tell you from experience that PSA does not pay out for their mislabels. I lost quite a bit of money in 2020 on a mislabeled yugioh card and that was even with having an advocate who worked with PSA doing the grunt work of speaking with them
It’s an interesting legal discussion. Would they not be liable for damages caused by false advertising? Makes sense that a buyer could say, I overpaid for this slab becaue of the false assurance that PSA provided.
i believe they have language in their terms that they wont pay out for that type of stuff coz it prolly happens a lot, which is why the pokenoobs shouldnt be buying stuff they have no idea what it is
it prolly happens a ton in sports coz theyve got like a bajillion parallels and reprints
Been having all sorts of issues with fanatics lately. Had a jumbo card submission get rejected, but they never told me for 2 months, and I have to pay to have them returned to me. Emailed my sales rep who spams me with emails every month saying they will “send free labels” to send cards to consignment. But when i request they pay shipping cards they rejected back to me they say nope you pay it.
Fanatics also takes weeks to ship out(as expected during busy times) but man it is terrible.
Considering switching to goldin, been hearing great things there lately
I’ve had zero issues with Goldin but the rates you pay as a seller are definitely higher than at fanatics
Oh ok! Thanks!
Do y’all remember when sorting by highest price was always sports cards and then you’d scroll and maybe see a high grade charizard on the first page? Now the top 9 highest cards this week are pokemon. We did it everyone.
It only took us this long to not lose out to cards of a bunch of sweaty dudes touching balls. ![]()
Does anyone know whether Fanatics is still experiencing long delays with shipping out vault withdrawals? I’m considering doing one soon but want to time it with when I know I won’t be out of town. The last time I did one around the end of last year it took a whole month (granted it was holiday season).
they seem quite a bit faster now (within a week or so) does it mean the poke boom boom is about to be over ![]()
I just got one back that had about 70 cards. Took 17 days so still pretty delayed.
Thanks both for the anecdotes; even if it’s 17 days now, at least that’s almost twice as fast as 30 days!
Both of these cards on Fanatics Collect appear to be wiped autos, where the dedication and dates were removed before being submitted to PSA. I wouldn’t be shocked if the sketches were added by someone other than Arita as well. ![]()
Does PSA officially grade cards with wiped dedications? I also agree with you on the sketches, they feel very hesitant and you can see instances like on the top of the Lugia head where two lines were used when one would have sufficed. I would be very surprised if they were done by a professional artist.
PSA only grades and authenticates the name/signature itself. They don’t look at anything else like a personalization, a sketch, or a colored in charizard.
