I’m just going to play devils advocate and say that I like him. Why, because he knows his demographic, children. My God son can’t be more than 6 years old and his face lights up when I show him these vids because he wants to see the “The funny man with robot music that plays when he pulls a good card” Is he for the serious collector? No; but he’s animated like that of the cards we so love to collect and I thinks that’s why kids like him, but that’s just me

I never knew that it was illegal but I don’t think one video is going to topple or disrupt the multi billion company that is Pokemon, and besides most of his vids are unboxings

I’m not worried about it toppling the industry. I’m worried about someone who kids look up to is making it seem normal to buy/sell/promote custom cards, which are at their core illegal (because of copyright infringement) and immoral.

Sure not every video is like this, but Unlistedleaf promotes these things regularly and kids don’t know any better and that should be concerning, not encouraging.

This is a fair enough argument to have.
I’m trying to see it through the eyes of a child and really don’t think I’d be affected at all by his advocacy of fake cards. As a parent and collector though, I don’t like it.

Apparently the guy heard about the difference of white and green online code cards ONLY NOW. And the video has “exposed” on the title.

For someone that does these videos for a living he legitimately has no idea about the hobby. He’s the kind of guy that walks into a toy store and buys whatever is new, freaks out when he pulls a $2 dollar GX and says it is worth $25 at minimum. You’d think if your living were something as simple as making Pokemon videos on YouTube that you’d at least invest in some time to gain real knowledge on the hobby… just can’t stand this guy.

hahaha… ahhhhh everyone has mixed feels with unlistedleaf, i think for the most part he is funny, and more entertaining than most youtubers haha.

His quite smart actually, and like some others said his main demographic is children, so i think he is doing a good job for kids.

He has also bought from me a few times hehe, so i was happy he did so.

Oh yeah his views are on the decline big time. I’ve noticed most of these big Pokemon card openers are low on the views for the past few months. It was bound to die off sooner or later, opening booster packs is really only so entertaining.

As much as you lot dislike UnlistedLeaf, I did quite enjoy his black triangle booster box opening

Maxmoefoe’s stuff is the most watchable of the trio imo.
