Getting ready to reorganize so figured I would update my Pikachu progress here and double check that I don’t need to shift cards up or down any slots.

If anyone happens to look through and sees anything that I am missing (obviously aside from my placeholder cards), let me know!

I’ll explain the parameters of my collection goal real quick: I start off with all English Pikachu cards including all printed variants (not worried about further variations in 1st edition stamps on the Base Set Pikachu as it has plenty of variations as is).
Then my other binder is non-English Pikachu cards that feature artworks not found on English printed cards (and only one instance of each unique artwork). To keep it feasible for myself I am excluding all of the Art Academy Illustration Contest cards and SNAP Pikachu; and currently I am not including Jumbo cards either.

The order is a little out of wack in this first draft from how I’ve acquired some of them - making some notes throughout for when I upgrade to my new yellow zipper binders!

I haven’t looked at all the Japanese cards yet, but from the English I see five missing from a quick look (excluding EX era codes, since I assume you’ve excluded those on purpose):

I’ve only took a quick look out of the top of my head, so I’ve possibly missed some. You can look at my English ‘Pikachu around the World’ collection post for an overview of all officially released English Pikachu cards (minus some recent releases, and one Art Academy Pikachu - the final English Pikachu card I’m personally missing). It’s only official releases though, so you won’t find well-known misprints like the Ghost Stamp; Inverted or No Stamp WB promos; upside down POP 5; etc. Those will all be mentioned in a separated post after I’ve done all languages (I still two more languages to go, I’m working on Spanish now, but I’m having trouble finding release dates :slightly_frowning_face: ).

PS: you’ve accidently posted the same picture twice. The text below it is correct (Celebrations cards), but the picture it incorrect.

Either way, amazing collection, and congrats on coming this far! Best of luck with the remainder of the cards. :blush:

@quuador Thank you! I knew about the Futsal promo but I’m still coming to terms with adding it to my list I guess haha.

The other releases I was unaware of so I’ll have to add spots for them in the new binder!

Now that you mention it, the inclusion of the ghost stamp but not the inverted WB Stamp Promo feels pretty arbitrary so I may need to flip my choice on one or the other.

Really appreciate the insight and taking the time to peruse my Pikachu collection

@thatpikachuguy Btw, there are also a few exclusive non-English/non-Japanese artworks. The Pikachu World Collection 2010 you already have; the Spanish Art Academy you’ve excluded; but there is also the Korean/Thai/Indonesian exclusive artwork:

Jungle and Undaunted are my two favorite regular set card Pikachus. I also really like the Character Rare from Cosmic Eclipse and the WB Promo as well. Way too many to list haha - there aren’t too many I don’t like
