Terrible experience with eBay seller "JD-2mintcollectibles"

I purchased a large lot of 26 packs. Some packs were the oldies like Aquapolis and Eseries 1 packs, others were ancient origins and other XY packs. It was a decent mixed lot. When I received the lot 25 of the 26 packs were exactly as advertised, then there was a Crystal Guardians pack that was not sealed, it was opened and more than likely searched. I alerted the seller about the issue in my initial message stating that I would have liked a sealed Crystal Guardians pack or the value of what the single pack would have costed ($25ish Zard art).

The seller responded to me later that night and basically brushed my claim off stating that he would have known if the pack was open when he sent it. I responded stating that I understood that mistakes could happen, however I received an open pack. I have linked the photos of our conversation below so you all can judge for yourselves how it went from there…

Imgur Link to the messages and the feedback we left one another.

Now, I have seen this individual involved in selling on eBay for quite awhile. I have also heard he used to own a store in the bay area. This is a PSA that if you do business with this guy this is how you are likely to get treated. The vast majority of power sellers on eBay are super easy to do business with, then you have people like this who hide behind a tax ID and a business name and think they can do as they like. I highly caution against doing business with this individual.

You can also complain about that feedback he left. It’s a breach of policy for sellers to do that apparently.

I already did and it was removed. Thank you though

Hey,

In order to maintain an environment of objectivity between sellers and buyers, all major complaints about eBay users should be directed to staff. If you would like this seller to be listed on our Blacklist (http://efour.proboards.com/thread/6346) please message me with all screenshots of all the relevant information, including pictures of the opened pack. As such I’ve locked this thread.

Thanks.
