I forgot to post about this earlier. This individual lives in Singapore, and ordered a listing for 36 English primal clash packs. All packs were pulled from the mega gyarados boxes. He bought the listing, and asked for me to add free additional packs as part of the purchase.
The packs were delivered very quickly, especially considering holiday mail. He then messages me on Christmas day, claiming the packs were weighed. He said he pulled two ex’s, not sure if that meant FA or normal EX cards. Then finally leaves neutral feedback, which was luckily removed by ebay.
Anyway, if you sell new unweighed sealed product, I would recommend blocking this individual.
36 loose packs will generally always have less EXs etc. than booster box buyers should assume this but is a risk selling that amount of packs as it implies a booster box.
So did eBay remove the feedback themselves or you called up etc?
I saw a blacklist on here for bad buyers and sellers, that I presume applied to ebay, but I’m surprised at how few individuals are on the list, given how many transactions happen between members on this site and people on ebay. Am I missing something?
I always find it baffling that people can be so quick to complain when they buy/open sealed product and end up with less than what they expected. Aside from the inherent gamble that opening packs already is, why would anyone who knows about the possibility of weighing buy loose packs if they are not prepared to accept the outcome? It’s no different than placing a bet at the casino and then demanding your money back when you don’t win because you think that the game was rigged. The burden of proof is on you when you make an accusation like that, and there is quite literally no way you’ll be able to prove anything. I feel for all the sellers that have to deal with these self entitled customers emboldened by the internet and the widespread fallacy that “the customer is always right.”
@shizzlemetimbers I had to call eBay but the women couldn’t have been anymore polite!
@pieterpie that blacklist hasn’t been touched in years. Typically people post an individual scenario like this, perhaps the list could be updated.
@areestee Absolutely! The kicker is I sold a few other 36 pack lots from those gyarados boxes, one to a member here actually, and they pulled 3-4 FAs. This guy from Singapore definitely had buyers remorse. Tried saying his son was so sad to only pull 2 FA cards. I actually went back and checked his messages, the EX/FA quantity he apparently pulled changed from messages.
Wow that’s horrible. My assumption with weighed packs would be that the buyer doesn’t even get any holographic cards. It’s unbelievable the lengths individuals would go to just because their expectations were not met.
