Technical bug reports/issues thread

Well I can fix malformed codes(and have done many times). So if you see it for a user let me know

@pfm I noticed in ReganRampage’s collection thread, which is using the New experimental feature: "My Collection", that the hover-over portion for the likes of comments is missing the background and is currently just white:

(As always, I’m using the latest Chrome browser, but I don’t think it’s relevant here - likely just forgotten to set the background I’d assume, which should be an easy fix.)

That’s part of the “experimental” nature of the plugin. If enough people demonstrate interest in the format I’ll go in and clean the code otherwise it’s not worth it.

Found another small bug with this experimental feature: it seems to be limited to five comments rn?

In this thread: Typhlosion Japanese PSA 10 Master Set, the first five comments are under the post as expected, but all other comments are regular posts instead.

When I was typing my comment, I specifically chose ‘New Entry’ so that it is entered as a new entry. I am not sure if I would have clicked on just the reply option or even the chat bubble icon would it have posted as a cascade under the original post?

Cheers!

You should have done reply, yes. The fact that it even gives you the other option is the problem here (unless you are the OP)

Should be fixed. “New Entry” should only be visible to OP (and staff)

Also made UI improvements. From this:

to this:

And by default only 2 comments are shown before the “show more” appears

@pfm is it possible that you recently changed some parameters about the member trust level?
I rolled back to ace level from leader, and checking a couple of other active members I think happened to them too.

I think its been mentioned that it was set up as a trap for site engagement. The requirements need ongoing commenting and likes or your trust level drops. I could be wrong (please dont drop my trust level).

I think you’re right, I remember it. It feels a bit strange that is happening now though, between June/July I was kinda active thanks to the art contest.

The ranking is automated and based on the last 100 days of activity

For example you need a minimum of 25 replies/posts in the last 100 days and you have 20

Ok, thanks. It definitely makes sense now.

Just added 3 more replies asking the question! Great work 2 more and your back in!

Ahahah, thanks can’t wait to join the real cabal again. I won’t spam I promise lol.
I think the criteria are a bit more subtle than 25 posts/100 days though, maybe there’s a likes counter too?
I already have 25 posts since May 30th

There are multiple requirements, this is the only one you aren’t passing

Is it 25 posts or posts in 25 different topics? That’s a little confusing part of the requirements for me, 25 different topics feels a bit out of place compared to for example the amount of likes received or topics viewed

I think its 25 different topics.

The wording is a bit ambiguous but it does seem like 25 different topics. That seems like a lot so I just dropped it down to 10

We’ll likely see quite a bit more leaders with that change, i think it was the one keeping people in ace since the rest of them are very easy ones to achieve
