So basically I was cleaning out my closet and in a box I found all the promos from the Sylveon Collection Box, including Sylveon, the fairy energy, and all the Eeveelutions. The latter are still in their original cardboard fan. I’d describe them as near mint to lightly played. They all have minor edge wear and some have a bit of scratching, but you can’t notice either of these things without looking extremely closely at the cards. They’re all bent from being in the fan, or in Sylveon’s case just being a foil card.
The thing is, I can’t for the life of me figure out what they’re worth. Apparently the Collection Box, along with the promos are exceedingly rare. Almost every auction or site is selling the promos individually, and the only auction I could find with them as a set was in December of 2015, where they sold for $45. But I have nothing to compare it to, so I have no idea if that was too low of a price and how the prices have changed.
So basically I have nothing to base a price off. My best bet I think would be to multiply the individual costs of the promos and add a bit extra for it being a complete set. So help me out, do yoy know of any more recent sellings of these promos? If not, what would you pay for it?
And in case you were wondering, I would be willing to sell these. I collect cards that I think look good, not necessarily rare ones. The art style of these cards don’t appeal to me, I’d rather they go to someone who appreciates them more than I do. But this isn’t the board for that.
