I’m surprised they are going to do such a set so soon in the Sun & Moon era. EX Battle Boost only came out in the end of BW era so this is bit strange, even more with Best of XY that came out just recently. I like the concept but it’s too soon I think.
They did the MMB and forget the other set name MM?. Non foils of many good cards ina box set, so not random. They also did CP4 a year ago or so, tons of EX reprints in those sets.
Sound like a set that has to contain at least some Pikachus.

Well, the advantage about these combined sets like MMB and The Best of XY, is that they are only released in Japanese. So I’m happy to have even more than two Pikachus in this set, as long as I won’t have to buy the English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese cards as well (like I had/have with the two Pikachus from the Alolan Raichu & Lycanroc Decks). Don’t get me wrong, I love every new release of the Pokémon I collect, but you’re indeed right that it costs some money to have them in all these languages.
Then again, I’m not spending 17.5k+ on a single PSA 10 Charizard, so my pocket change is well-spend so far.
