Followed some grade A Patreon advice and worked my way through some Japanese base holos for a binder. Just need Mewtwo and I’m done, should run about $1,500 all in or $93 on average which is nuts. Charizard CGC 7.5 ran about $300 which goes to how how cheap they’re going for. Chansey PSA 9 was $55.

Edit: I totally botched Zappos and damaged it on the way out :pensive:

As a complete scrub, tell me why you’d prefer them in a binder? I’m a newbie, so not meant to be insulting. Just curious on the logic?

State of Paradix Roft. All IRs done, now just getting through the SIRs. Need just one.

Many people prefer to look through their cards in binder form. You can arrange them in an infinite number of ways and aside from customization, it’s nostalgic, given many of us had binders as kids.

I have a couple of slabs, but they just want to be r e l e a s e d. What do y’all do with the PSA cert. nr? I read that you “have to” let PSA (or any other grading company) know that you “unslabbed” the slab. So that they can edit their pop reports/data i think? And do you really send the label back or just email them about it?

I have broken so many slabs and not once bothered sending PSA the certnumbers xd

This copy was truly a PSA 7 quality and it was way cheaper than a raw. Photo was taken 1 year ago, and was the last NM card for my BS2 binder.

I will mail back the labels on my next submission.

is that cheaper than buying NM/LP off of TCGPlayer?

The graded is going to be more expensive but buying raw is such a gamble it’s really hit or miss.

Ive had decent luck fwiw and if you order tcgp direct then you can exchange. Sometimes though psa 8-9 are so close in price that it won’t really matter. Lol

Couple more pages completed over thanksgiving weekend.

I also bought moltres v, rayquaza vmax, and giratina v as psa 8s to finish up the missing slots. Figured for those I might as well be picky since I’m already spending a few hundred on each.

Here’s a couple Steelix that are recent-ish (as in, past year) that I’ve cracked and had presence of mind to take pictures of the “before”. PSA/CGC 8s and 8.5s are my bread and butter.

Looking good, there’s so many solid cards in this set. Once we finish our bb here I can buy them :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Moltres cracked, another full page on the books.

White looks great. I was nervous because it
It might show damage and stains easily but I don’t mind it now that I have it.
