if it has a dent your not getting that gold label 10 either, and most likely will not get a psa 10…
I might go with psa if its just a factory dot of whitening because it should get a 10 man, and if it gets a 9 then that would be od as alot of psa 10 have some kind of factory pack fresh dot of whitening and are still gems. If its dented and your keeping it for your collection, and happy with mint 9… It will be fine to send to either. You could use it as a test to get a better feel of which ever company you send to i guess.

Sounds like it has a decent shot at a BGS gold label 10 if it is in fact just a tiny miniscule insignificant microscopical white factory pack fresh dot!! which would be awesome because i dont think there is one yet… But theres like 200 psa 10… So yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Reductio ad absurdum is a debate term for when someone uses an extreme example to make a point. AKA my bank robbing, and parachute point to prove the absurd nature of relying upon a company mistake to achieve a better result.
What skiwi thinks and will get are two different things. If you have a dent in a card you’re not getting a BGS 10. Even you @missingno , already admitted that it would have to be an oversight to get a BGS 10. Using information you know is false to help your side of a debate is weak.
You were trying to imply that arguing in the discussion was getting nowhere. Which quite frankly I agree.

Factory corner separation cut lines. Which can sometimes be the material being exposed when the curving process of the corners is finalized. Those fresh inner bristles that shows that the card has not gone through any wear. Meaning pristine corners hence white dot hence because paper. A dent is known to be inward this can be outward (Antonym)
Recently a PSA 10 and BGS 10 example of English Goldstar Jolteon went up for auction the results:

Lesson in card grading for everyone:
Mint means the cards looks like it came from the factory and is unused. Factories have a lot of issue with inconsistencies when it comes to manufacturing cards at the volume they produce them at.
Gem Mint means that of those cards that came out of the factory very few were cut, centered, and lack other factory flaws to a point where it’s a noticeably better card when compared to other factory fresh cards.
Prestine is supposed to be the next level (this is why I consider it a gimmick, you’re already have cards that are better than average and now there’s a grade that takes those better than average and tries to narrow it down to perfect). So, if you can see a white speck in the card you don’t have a better than better card. Especially when BGS is going to use magnification to see faults in the card that can’t be seen by the naked eye (they’re there).
This is why Prestine is supposed to get a higher premium. I do find it amusing that BGS supporters who love the Pristine grade are willing to give it to a card that a self appointed amature can view a flaw in…
PSA is definitely the answer, overall/in general they offer the most value and more importantly the most interest, as Scott touched on earlier. It’s funny he mentioned that too because just yesterday for two hours I was searching “BGS pokemon cards” “Beckett pokemon cards” etc. in both current listings and sold listings and comparing them to PSA results. Which is what led me to this post for the first time in a while. I was also searching BGS Pokemon pop reports to see how many cards have been graded over the years vs. PSA. Well obviously it’s not even close.
Which is why I’m still debating whether I really want to start a BGS collection or not. Personally, I like their cases better, but it’s such a niche market- not sure the investment would even be worth it.
Yes, if a Holo was graded in BGS 10 Pristine - Black Label, it would no doubt increase the value (and appeal) to an insane amount, but more so if it was an English card. Everyone knows that Japanese cards grade better, so the shock value wouldn’t really be there. The exception, however, being OP’s card the base Charizard.
So my suggestion would be- why not just try grading the same card at both companies?
If someone is really interested in grading with BGS you have to take a huge risk and be willing to invest a lot of time, money, and effort into it. More specifically you need to just start mass grading to try and get that first BGS 10 Black Label Holo, because once that hits the market you might see more following. And then just imagine if the current grading market was split 50/50, you would think with the amount of cards out there, there would definitely be some getting the black label. (of course any grade under BGS 9 is totally unreliable, where PSA wins is with lower grades for sure).
@cullers if Gary’s khan can get the black label so can a perfect card with the factory cut tacks still intact! Take a magnified closer look at Gary’s khan, please. To say that something you haven’t seen won’t achieve a certain OPINION is beyond my understanding, at this point you’re just going against all means BGS for the love of PSA. We can sit here and define every aspect of the essentials on each companies perspective but to blindly say something is for sure, is absurd and naive.

You are completely ignoring the fact that you have not even seen a picture of the card. Besides that you’re ignoring the fact that I told you to take a closer look at Gary’s khan.
I don’t need to see an image of the card, you can’t see most damages of the card through a picture.
Microscopic damages to cards happen unless you’re using advanced storage techniques that very few people know how to do. It’s a safe assumption.
I know Gary’s khan, I also know you said the corners were messed up to which Gary responded that the corners were perfect. Why do I need to look at it again?
Don’t talk to me about dodging points, you’re the biggest culprit of that I’ve ever met. Why don’t you tell everyone again who’s the harder company to grade through (rhetorical).
