Anyone else having fun with FR LG? Which version? Which starter? Did you play it before? Any ambitious goals you have for the game? Get a lucky egg? Shiny? Complete the Pokedex?

I’ve been working a lot so I haven’t been able to play as much as I’d like 
I just got to Mt. Moon. Picked Bulbasaur for starter (I’ve always picked grass all the way back since Red version). It’s been so much fun so far!

Haven’t caved to the urge to get it on the switch yet (“you don’t need it”, “you’ll just get bored again”, “it’ll detract from real life endeavours” blah blah) but when I inevitably succumb I’m totally doing a nuzlocke run through first. I’ll be furious if rattata shows up before Pidgey.

I was hesitant at first to buy the game for the Switch, because I regularly play them on my GBA but when I heard that the Event Pokémon will be unlocked on the game I gave in.
Currently at Rock Tunnel and wanted to use at least some Pokémon that I normally don’t use for my playthroughs. Currently have Wartortle, Pidgeotto and Dugtrio (and 3 filler Mon) in my team, I plan to add Zapdos, Ninetales and Kangashkan to it over the course of the game.
FRLG are in my opinion some of the most underrated Pokémon games of them all, they are acutally my third favorite games after Emerald and HGSS. So naturally I am having a lot of fun playing it.
