I like all music that makes me feel something or has atmosphere.
Usually gravitate towards the harder styles
Also love oldschool trance or Synthwave if I want something more chill!

I guess I’ll update with what I’ve been listening to recently as well.

In two words, KANYE WEST.

I have no idea how I never got with it before. I am infatuated with every single commercial release this guy has (except maybe his two recent ones, KSG and ye). My favorite is College Dropout, which has a very classic feel to it, but I also enjoy My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Yeezus, 808s and Heartbreak, and whatever other ā€œdifferentā€ things he’s tried. He’s so talented it’s ridiculous. I have a Spotify playlist with some of my favorites of his here…

Also, full disclosure, kpop has been a guilty pleasure of mine recently… mostly just the bubblegum-sounding girl groups. It’s just extremely infectious and the sounds are water-tight (that they try to hit at least). Plus, not being able to understand it is better than English pop music because what they’re saying is vapid and uninteresting anyway. Just adds a little flavor. Not exactly the most masculine thing to like and it’s a stark contrast to everything else, but I can’t help it lol.

Lately been watching quite a bit of anime, so I’m currently listening to this openings/endings mix:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYgqNZ349Ow

Most songs I know for about 1 to 1.5 minutes due to the anime openings/endings (from the ones I’ve watched), so it’s also surprising to hear the full songs in this mix. And loads of songs I didn’t knew about yet (mainly because the anime is either not well-known, or I’m not really interested in watching them).

Japanese is quite a nice language to listen to. If only my Japanese vocabulary was any better…

Although I must admit I usually don’t really listen to this kind of mixes… I prefer Trance, Techno, Trap, Hands Up, and Hardstyle mostly. Although I can also appreciate pop, rock, nightcore and such every now and then.

Greetz,
Quuador

It’s sunday morning, and that means cleaning the house. During this, I always like to put on this 90’s megamix by Alex K; It has so much great hits in one fluid mix, 2 hours of cleaning passes like it’s nothing:

Though funny, what a small part for Freddy. Let’s fix that with some 80’s metal:

Yep, what a legendary game series. The early ones had superb gameplay and killer soundtracks! Here’s another one:

I’ve never heard of any of these (besides #1) lol. One of my sons was over and he knew them all and had even seen most of them at edc concerts all around. He said my friend xzini had great taste

My first newly discovered artist in 2018 was The Wedding Singer Ensemble.
In total, I’ve listened to Spotify for 89.766 minutes of which 32 hours were spend listening to Battle Beast.

I’ve played golf with Alice Cooper(Vince) many times:) An interesting story: the first time we met was on the course. After the round I asked him if he’d autograph my scorecard. He said, ā€œOnly if you’ll sign mine firstā€ lol.
His stage persona couldn’t have been more different than his real personality.

Haha wow that’s awesome Gary

I couldn’t say enough good things about him. Musically, he’s been successful for many decades, evolving his music every time while maintaining the Alice Cooper look and feel. He also surrounds himself with very talented artists throughout the years and really likes to put them in the spotlight as well. Instead of a band, they’re much more like a family. And in some interviews, you really get a glimpse of the man behind Alice Cooper; Kind, funny and enjoying life to the fullest along with his lovely family (both the band and his actual one).

Thanks for sharing the story, Gary. I’m glad he left a good impression on you as well.

I’m not even kidding, at least for a year I’ve searched this song Youtube once in a while with no results and recently it just pops up in suggestions. I knew it was there but something didn’t want me to find it.

Original version from Lift is classic but this one is pretty amazing as well.

I went to middle school and high school with Alice Coopers daughter (Sonora Cooper). She was a nice girl, I never kept in touch though.
