Any way to tell whether or not its shadowless? Or won’t know until the box is opened
You won’t know till you open.
Unless you pop down the flap and try to peak inside to see if you can see the pack style
I would peak at it…
If it was in my possession lol
If the seller moves ANY amount of Pokemon cards and the box is at a “good” price, then it will not be shadowless. Any collector/seller of vintage cards is going to know to check if it’s shadowless before they turn it.
The above is ten fold truer if they mention “possibly shadowless” in the description/title.
Unless is guaranteed shadowless (money back) at a shadowless market price, it’s a big gamble.
Definitely. But no, this guy isn’t a big seller. Not on ebay. But I’m not offering anything on the base box
There’s a fairly decent likelihood. I’ve been saving data for years now and the odds for that specific variant are more for it than against.
Always assume not. Even if peaking reveals shadowless artwork, it’s still no guarantee.
Only pay a Base Unl Box price or 10% more
Unless peeking also reveals long crimp, then you are golden…
On the chance it is shadowless, what is a proper value for the box?
A few months ago, a confirmed shadowless box was broken up and packs sold individually for $600 on IG by pokemonrevolution I believe…That would put the box at $22k. Add maybe 10-20% premium for being a sealed box…
On the chance it is shadowless, what is a proper value for the box?
There will be more variance in value as Shadowless boxes are inherently ambiguous. I think buying from someone reputable like @pokemonrevolution will be on the higher range in value.
I believe this box had been sold previously, so not sure why it appeared on PWCC. The original seller had no idea, so if this was being sold by the buyer, then there is no chance in hell.
Oh yeah the original box sold for about 4K.
