I think I’ve seen that you have the computer error trainer - can you remember what you paid for it?

Or the neo expansion/intro set?

Base/Jungle set?

I appreciate what you said about not knowing much about their history so I was just wondering if you could remember the kind of prices you got them for?

I’ve been after the VS set for ages - I’ve finially found one - however 6 of the cards are missing. They would like $150 - do you think it would be too difficult for me to source the remaining cards, or should I just go for it?

By the way - is that $250 for ALL e2-5 - or $250 per set, for e2,e3 etc…?

Regarding the VS set, these are missing:
Karen’s Umbreon (VS 91)
Falkner’s TM 02 (VS 104)
Whitney’s TM 02 (VS 108)
Janine’s TM 02 (VS 120)
Karen’s TM 02 (VS 126)
Lance’s TM 02 (VS 129)

I haven’t looked for them but do any of these strike you as very difficult to source?

The only way you’ll know is to try to find them.

I do have some spare VS cards… eventually I’ll put up a list if people are desperately searching.

and LOL at asking viper.fox whether she uses Bulbapedia. This is the person who’s made collectorviper.com and essentially our source of news direct from Japan :wink:

(FWIW I quite like Bulbapedia. I just don’t trust it :stuck_out_tongue:)

Thanks. I’ve gone ahead and bought it so I will definitely need to look for the missing cards at some stage.

Indeed she made the site - however, she did have to learn the material from somewhere! I could go make a site, but I would have to use e.g. bulbapedia to learn the material :blush:

NEO EXPANSION 4 COMPLETE SET 108 CARDS INCLUDING 16 HOLO

They only sold for between $20-50 each. These sets are not that expensive if you can win them in an eBay auction.

the e series cards will be the one fetching the most and so will the VS series.e series 1 is not really hard since there have been many booster boxes that were sold on ebay its just the set is a big big one to complete.like viper said e2-e5 are the most harder ones to find now.a couple months back a sealed e2 box sold for over 100 dollars.i myself am trying to complete my e2 set but missing like 13 cards majority just the holos and rares.

VS series for the cards your missing they wont be too hard to find.the TM’s there are people who are wiling to trade for them and you can buy em pretty cheap.the ONLY ones people are after the most are the holos and the lance’s charizard.a complete VS series set runs about 200-300 depending if you include the secret rockets tyranitar.just recently the 3 dogs ended about 20-30 a piece and someone on ebay has a sealed red/blue box for 900.

That’s pretty nuts that they sold so cheap! I’ll have to keep my eye out for them!

I’ve managed to source the VS and e cards so I will uplaod them when they arrive.

I actually have 2 VS charizards (and several other VS cards) so hopefully I will be able to trade for some of the ones I have missing. I’ve been lucky to source most of the cards (inc. tyranitar) for a decent price and so I will just need to find the rest.
