Do I put direct signature required or not?
the cards are valued around $2000 in total
sending via fedex.
Yes put direct signature or signature tracking.
I am sure they have people at the office to sign for packages which shouldnt hurt you.
I would personally do it myself
I put signature required on many of my PSA submissions as USPS (and I am sure Fedex) requires it at a certain $$$ threshold. It causes no issue. They likely send people to the P.O. box to pick up all incoming shipments and they simply sign one time for the likely hundreds of submissions that they get at once. That is how it works at my personal P.O. box. They leave a slip in there and I just need to get the package at the desk. I have gotten 5 or so at once in the past and only needed to sign once, no hassle.
I’m confused with fedex cause it has “indirect signature”. “direct signature”
Ok thanks for the reply helps a lot.
what is the best delivery window from your experience? I have down by 8:00am
Most places aren’t open that early. I’d see if they have something that says by close of business or something because if it gets there to early or to late no one will be there to sign for it.
In this case PSA has a P.O. Box so it will stay there at the office until PSA comes to receive/sign for it.
Those poor submissions, all cramped up and squished in the po box before getting graded.
Well considering that the packages go to PO box managed by PSA and that all packages are logged into their system by the agent regardless of the Signature confirmation, I actually don’t use signature confirmation anymore. I used to send it with signature confirmation, but I don’t anymore since I figured it’s pointless. However I do keep it insured. Hope this helps!
how much insurance for FEDEX? and how much was the value of your package.
I’ve been trying to search online and it says FEDEX only offers $100 insurance and the remaining amount is only covered if you have proof of purchase.
I’ve always used USPS, simple and easy especially in the states. I literally live around the corner from one and they insure upwards of $5,000. However I do know for a fact that fedex definitely allows for more than just $100, at the very least the thousands
Indeed PSA sends a representative to the PO to collect their mail. I know this because I had a package refused by them at the PO due to it being damaged. The staff member took photos at the PO to provide reasoning as to why the refused it.
how did your package end up being damage if I may ask
Somewhere in the 15,000 odd KM journey using the postal service.
