PSA Insured Shipping vs Fedex

Hi guys,
When finalizing my submission I noticed the option of having PSA send my cards back via Insured Shipping or Fedex. The former costing $125 and the latter being apparently free as no aditional cost was shown when I selected it.

So far I have always used Insured Shipping, but my submissions were also always delivered by Fedex, so I’m a bit confused. Can someone explain the difference between each?

Is the Fedex option more adequate for orders below a certain value and Insured Shipping for high end items, or is it best to always go with insured shipping?
Thanks in advance.

The FedEx shipping method requires you to have an account with FedEx I believe.

When I looked into it, it was 4x more expensive than using the USPS version.

I’ll stay away from it then, thought it was worth checking in case these were dependent on order value, but doesn’t seem to be the case.

Thanks Oz.

It’s worth checking just in case it is a better option though.

PSA were pushing me to use FedEx but after I looked into it, I walked away swiftly.

Personally I always use FedEx as it’s one day shipping internationally,

For UK users USPS is considerably cheaper, but Parcelforce is awful when processing parcels in regards to custom checks being done incorrectly, processing of customs taking sometimes weeks and then delivery days and times are everywhere,

With FedEx, PSA send it, you receive the next day! My two cents
