Scam or Not?
If it really is just payment processing that is the issue, I am pretty sure the item will still show as sold on your side but pending payment. I have had this happen with items before. If it does not, then sounds like maybe they are trying to take you for a ride.
Not sure but I’ve noticed some checkout problems on eBay and they have issued about 7 E checks this week which before this week I didn’t know what a E check even was. They end up clearing in a few days but it’s annoying from buyers side too because the sellers don’t send until it clears. But ya I’m really not sure I got frustrated in checkout yesterday and almost sent a similar message to someone but ended up paying off my girls credit card and PayPal’d my girl repayment
Does not look like a scam. I mostly buy stuff on Ebay with my debit cards, and they fail 90% of the time, and then start working randomly again. I have contacted Ebay about this issue, and it seems like it’s something on Paypal’s side.

Ya eBay fails at checkout with me too sometimes or the new E check dilemma I mentioned. I also have a debit card. The funny thing is i get charged instantly but seller has to wait on stupid echeck to clear. And debit cards are your own money far from actual credit

Noticed there are no time stamps, so it should be noted that I had to remind them that they need to make the payment before I can print the shipping label. This was at least two hours after I told them to resubmit their offer, which they did promptly.
In addition, doing as they requested would appear to violate eBay’s terms (selling off eBay).
Can anyone verify the above statement?
Last year I experienced something similiar. My payment Took more than a week to process for a sale. Every other payment went through without a Problem. Never figured out why that happened.

As long as the eBay and PayPal names and addresses match up you’re fine. If they don’t match up don’t ship it
