Is anyone else having a problem buying anything on ebay?
I’m using the ebay app and trying to buy a card but keep getting “We can’t process your payment. Please select a different payment method or check your payment details.”
Tried a few different times. All my info is correct. I deleted my info and re entered everything just to be sure. Doubled checked my card statements to see if anything went through and nada.
Had no issues when I bought a card about 10 hours ago maybe I hit a limit?
i had to link my credit card to paypal and choose that a my preferred payment and checkout using paypal.
Same issue happens to me all the time. Then when I checkout using PayPal its fine. Only problem is paying directly with my card. And this issue is eBay only. On other sites or in stores I can pay with just my credit card
Did you try without the app, on your mac? What’s the link? I’ll try to buy and see what it says.
Haven’t tried without the app yet that was gonna be my next step to try on my phone. Was trying to buy the fossil Mew off TCA Gaming.
why don’t you just hit Rusty up on IG or here on the forum? Pretty sure he’d sell Paypal G&S…
I tried through the website and still got the same issue. I don’t have a paypal account and don’t know anything about it to be honest lol.
PayPal is usually easy to use. Assuming they accept your card. For some reason my new credit card won’t link so I had to link my bank. But generally stuff like that doesn’t happen. My old cards linked fine. Just setup PayPal. It will take less then five minutes

I had to contact paypal to get my credit card linked, i was able to link my debit no problem but wanted to use the credit card for the points on large purchases.
And paypal didn’t work lol. Wow just my luck.
It must be a glitch. But ya my card isn’t anything fancy. It’s a simple debit card with my own cash. I find it funny I have my bank linked and it still won’t link my card. When it shows a picture of it and that’s what everything online is paid with haha

Yeah thats what I’m thinking its probably a glitch. Ebay support was no help at all either. Guess I’ll wait a bit more and try again. Thanks

At this point its safe to assume its just glitch on Ebays end as my credit card works everywhere else so best I can do is wait and see if things get fixed in a day or so. If I miss out on the card no biggie I’ll have another opportunity down the road.
