I’m glad I collect Japanese. I found even when I moved from English to Japanese collecting way back when, being a more niche market I avoided the majority of this on going drama. The people who also collected were in a small community, not this over exposed, cesspit we have today. When did people forget the word community!
Luckily these types of people most likely won’t last long anyway and they’ll move on and complain about something else soon enough.
Salt is a finite resource and the pokemon community is going through it at an exponential rate. Salt is the best investment of 2020, you heard it here first. Buy it before it’s too late.
I’ve never seen anyone complain about t17 personally, so when I watched the vid I was like “He must be exaggerating. No way the caricature crybabies like that exist.” And then I remembered what happened last week when someone tried to sell a pretty clean 1ed shining zard for 1.6k on a facebook group.
anything missing from the social media shit talking playbook?
talk the card down to try to get it at a cheaper price
attack seller personally, call him an idiot
attack potential buyers calling them dumb/high for even being interested at that price
call the seller an “entitled clown” or “con artist” publicly to further deter buyers
@vince702 I’m noticing it as well in my local Facebook groups, although to a lesser extent. Best approach is to block them forever, no point in arguing with those people. They will never learn
