So I recently purchased a card on ebay which I hadn’t received after a week and a half after the payment date. I opened a case against the seller and he now contacts me saying he shipped it to the wrong address. Furthermore, because of the case, his paypal funds are negative and the only way for him to be able to ship the card is if I close the case. If I close the case am I still able to go through ebay if the seller does not send me the item?
NO!
Do not close the case until you have either:
- the item you paid for
or - a full refund.
If you close an eBay case, you are informing eBay you have come to a settlement and have one of the two things listed above. You cannot go back and change your mind once this has happened.

Yea thats what I was thinking as I got the card for around half of what it goes for. Classic sellers remorse.
