Solid move, I think base set 2 is going to skyrocket in the coming years.

Hard to place a real value on either especially the blastoise. From what I gathered 4 charizards sold for about 450 one for 800 and possibly one for 1200 this year.

$850.00 - charizard

$200.00 - blastoise

(Blastoise is a guess, I’ve never seen one sell. Venusaur went for 150 so I based it on that.)

I’m sure you’ve seen that one guy try to sell his zard for a few months now on eBay I think I’ve see him list it as low as $1300 now I think it is $2500 he keeps swinging the price drastically.

Yeah I talked to him on Instagram and he was willing to go 1000, there was a guy from France selling one but I can’t find him now. Maybe one will go on auction sooner or later and we can see what they are worth. =)

I don’t think that 1200 sale was real. I wish they would put one up on pwcc. =)

I didn’t know that Charizard was worth so little. $1000 seems like a very fair price.

I’m not sure you want a copy on pwcc as you might have to raise your offer considerably if/when that happens.

That’s very possible, but it would show what an open market is willing to pay. One of the 400 dollar charizards was from pwcc earlier this year.

After waiting to long, I ended up paying 1145 dollars.
There are actually two listed on eBay right not, one on auction, and the other buy it now with no offers accepted.
However the start price on the auction is high, if it does not get a bid they may list as a “bin” with best offer on it.
