The Battle Frontier card is one of just two non-Seviper artworks that feature a Seviper in its artwork, the other being Team Aqua’s Kyogre EX.
A couple of days ago the last variation of this card I was missing arrived: the Japanese unlimited edition World Champions Pack version.
I’ve been collecting Seviper cards for 2.5 years now, and I had never even seen a picture of this unlimited edition card before.
I’m also very grateful to two persons who made this purchase possible. @dizzylochs was the one who send me a link to the Mercari auction of this card, since he knew I was looking for this card. What’s extra admirable, is that he’s still missing this card for his own collection goal of owning all Stadium cards. So thanks a lot Loch, I truly appreciate it! And second is @pigeonsyndicate . The seller of the card on Mercari refused to sell it to a middleman service like Buyee, so Sam helped me by being my Japanse middleman, by buying and forwarding it to me. Thanks a lot, both of you!
I’ve also been able to find the Spanish Hidden Fates shiny Seviper, which is now incoming. (And the Indonesian Sevipers are also still at my middleman, and will be shipped after he has found some more Indonesian Pikachu cards for me.)
So, I now only need one more card to fully complete my Seviper collection. Unfortunately it’s also from the Japanese unlimited edition World Champions Pack set, just like the Battle Frontier pictured above… This set was only available for two weeks by online purchase to begin with, and most of those were 1st edition. The unlimited edition WCP cards are therefore a pain to find, especially for specific cards. If anyone has any leads to this Seviper card, let me know. I’m willing to pay 100 USD for it, and will also pay anyone 25 USD if it leads to a successful purchase.
Also, since I’ve made a table for Pikachu in my previous post as overview per language, I figured I’d do the same for Seviper (including the two cards featuring Seviper) here:

I must admit, it feels good to enter so many 100% in the table.
A bit of both if I’m completely honest, although more the first than the second. It would definitely feel amazing if I’m able to find this last Seviper to cross it off my list and have a 100% complete collection. But I also wouldn’t mind if more Seviper cards are released in the future.
I also have quite a few of collection goals simultaneously (Pikachus; Sevipers; English & Japanese exclusive FA Supporters; National Index including forms and shiny Pokémon; Moltres WotC #21 WotC promo variations including sealed and graded; Yu-Gi-Oh rarities; etc.) So I would indeed be pretty happy to have one more sub-collection 100% complete. Collecting Sevipers also feels like a breath of fresh air in comparison to Pikachu, which has on average a new release every 2.5 weeks.
So here’s to hope I’m able to find it in the not so distant future, even though it’s the rarest Seviper card by far and it might potentially take years before I find it.
Oh, I indeed never knew this. I always thought Reina Sierpe was your irl name. Didn’t even knew that Pike Queen Lucy was called Reina Sierpe in Spanish.
Is Seviper still your favorite Pokémon, or you have other favorites now?
PS: my username is based on nothing and completely made up once (it was the name I had given one of my planets in the game OGame).
Haha, yeah, it’s pretty insane these last few years. 200 Pikachu card releases in 2019 alone. And I just read that upcoming September a new set is going to be released that focuses on Gigantamax Pikachu, so no doubt there are 2-5 Pikachu cards in that set, multiplied by 11 languages.. Sigh. Ah well, I definitely won’t be bored anytime soon (not so sure about becoming poor, though).
Two more altered/extended Base Pikachu cards arrived. The first one is from AdamCrowtherGallery of Etsy, which is both a Surfing and Flying Pikachu at once. And the second is from lisaslovelycards of Instagram, for which I love the sky as well as the waterfall from the tree trunk.
Another beautiful extended/altered Base Pikachu arrived two days ago. This one is made by namelessartistsoul from Instagram. Love the colors of the water and trees, as well as the tree trunk and cattails in particular.
Another altered/extended Base Set Pikachu arrived today. This one is made by pokelise0302 of Instagram. Cards like this is why I like collecting these extended Base Set Pikachu cards. Although they all use the same base (pun intended) card, they all look so different and unique, love it.
In addition, the last few Thai Pikachu cards arrived today, so I now have all 21 Thai Pikachu cards and the Thai Seviper card completed:
