I have 2 options: Majestic Dawn & Stormfront.

  • Majestic Dawn is the only DP era expansion that has not been released in Spanish. It doesn’t exist … or well, not exactly … A few cards from this expansion were reprinted as part of the Burger King 2009 campaign. This campaign was released in English & Spanish. Btw … the Burger King campaign cards (2008 & 2009) were the only cards from DP era available as Reverse Holo in Spanish.
  • Stormfront for the :sparkles: Pokémon: Drifloon, Duskull & Voltorb. These were Reverse Holo cards in all western languages except in Spanish. Because of the absence of Reverse Holo in this era, these cards were Cosmos Holo instead. If Stormfront gets a reprint, these :sparkles: Pokémon should be Cosmos Holo …

I wouldn’t mind seeing Legends awakened reinterpretated with illustration rares.

All of them

Honestly though, I would absolutely love to see DP base get a reprint/reimagining. LV.X cards are my favorite of the gimmick cards, and DP base just feels so iconic as the start of the generation.

I also would love to see Majestic Dawn again, as well as Platinum. Like I said though, really any of them would make me super happy to see again.

I always liked the fall-themed subset of cards in Platinum.
Himeno, Saitou and especially Arita cooked hard in this set :sparkles:

I would do a combination of Stormfront, Majestic Dawn and Legends Awakened, picking the best cards for each set.

It has a great potential, especially if the Shinies were given a cosmo holo or textured treatment. I would personally also change the reverse style for these set, with something less lazy like ex-era ones.
Many non-holo cards are actually beautiful and would benefit from being holo/better reverses.

LV.X’s are really beautiful cards. I’ve started working on a Japanese set. I didn’t play DP and had stopped collecting by the time the cards came out so I had kind of overlooked the mid-era stuff until recently. They’re gorgeous cards and I feel like they’re a great middle ground - lots of holo and big art but not generic and over-the-top like 5ban crap that came in later years.

To be honest I gotta give @haytertcg’s YouTube videos credit for opening my eyes to mid-era stuff.

Great encounters, majestic dawn, and if we’re including the platinum sets, Rising Rivals and Arceus

Respectfully, whenever I see this Muk art, it reminds me of a dog stung by a bee :sob:

I agree with others that have said it’d be intriguing to see a reprint of all seven DP sets. That being said, if I’d had to choose one, I’d pick Great Encounters.

It’s not my favorite set of the era, but I think it is the best representation of DP given its focus on Dialga, Palkia, Darkrai, and Cresselia. I realize DP base also represents DP well (as I would certainly expect it to!), but I think GE’s comparatively greater emphasis on the gen 4 legends better ties-in with generation 4’s overall theme of accentuating the significance of legendaries compared to most other generations.
