Why doesnt pinsir have a real evolution yet? Or even a baby form. Seems like a waste to have it only megaevolve.

It is a terrible waste, the Mega should’ve been an evolution.

Favorite: Shiny Mega Gardevoir

Love the contrast between black and white, it seems like a solid design compared to her normal colors. I like the ralts line, and this mega doesn’t mess up too much the general pokemon aesthetic.

Hard to pick a favorite, I think most of the mega evolutions are well designed but if I had to choose then it would be Mega Absol

It’s so FLUFFY and SOFT. Fairy Dragon is such a majestic typing.

Well this was a timely question. But hear me out, my personal head canon is that this design of Mega-Dragonite is based on the Greek God Hermes and not any of the previous evolutions.

Hermes in Greek mythology, known as the messenger of the gods. What is Dragonite’s profession - Postman. It all adds up!

Megaa Forum (Grrrr)

Ok though here me out, Mega Lopunny is actually really good design. First, it actually looks like a proper evolution. [427] [428] The problem with most megas is that they are overdesigned. Too many knobs, bits, colours, phalanges, etc. Tyranitar and Steelix are good bad examples. And/or they just become ridiculous and hard to take seriously like Garchomp or Sharpedo. Just imagine the silhouette of each mega and you can see why the design often falls short. [mega-lopunny-main] Lopunny ha…

1. Mega Sableye

Bathed in the energy of Mega Evolution, the gemstone on its chest expands, rips through its skin, and falls out.

It blocks any and all attacks with its giant-sized gemstone.

I think this, with the added flavor text, is just perfect and a good example of not overcomplicating things. It’s just playing with the main feature.

He is wiser, he has more spoons, he levitates and his beard has now fully grown.

I think some pokemon are fine without more evolutions. They usually end up with the original form being completely forgotten. Why use Electabuzz now when theres Electavire?

Pinsir is already a cool pokemon and an evolution would just leave Pinsir behind as the unevolved form of “____”

While Ampharos is an okay design, I love how a few simple additions to the design from the glorious mane, additional orbs, tail floof and black painted toes make it look like a rockstar. The shiny version is really clean too.

Really hoping it gets an SAR from an artist I really like

I would strongly prefer mega Ampharos’s form as Dragonair’s final evolution (with a different color palette though)

Maybe a bit of a cliché, but my favorite is Charizard X:

The black and blue works so well, and the overall shape of Charizard is also pretty cool.

Mega Charizard X! Charizard is my favorite Pokemon and this design just speaks to me so much. Blue and black are my favorite colors so seeing charizard get a full charred black body with blue flames erupting out off his mouth is just best. Fire and Dragon are also my favorite types, coupled with its brawler fighting style and its the best for me. I’m honestly so happy this design is real and that we are heading bkac into the mega era for more of it
