Most of these are pretty cool imo. Love how Absol becomes even more cliché edgy than it already is haha. Also, yay, with Mega Staraptor it’s almost guaranteed I’ll get new cards to collect in 2026. Only form I really can’t get warm with is Darkrai, what on earth did they do to that xD

Reminds me of other anatomical horrors, like when Eternamax Eternatus transforms from alien dragon to a “black hole” coil with and “plasma jet” outstretched hand and eyes at its fingertips (at 5x the height)

For me, the coolest and probably great design from these releases is the Golisopod for sure. Golisopod has such a cool design and the mega basically just makes it look like an armoured turret. Very cool.

The other one I like would be the Magearna. The colours are pretty awesome. And really looks better than base design.

I really did not connect with the design of Glimmora but the Mega form looks cool. Looks very satellitey like.

Mega Heatran just looks like Dynamaxed Gengar but orange. That is the other design that stood out but also seemed very familiar.

The rest are alright but I can understand they may fit the lore. Tatsugiri is just the laziest.

Now we’re talking. Love Glimmora, Scovillain, Magearna, Golisopod and Staraptor. Golurk looks great shiny. Darkrai is not too shabby either. In fact, the sushi meme is the only one I really hate.

The Z Megas Absol, Garchomp and Lucario are heavy. Straight to ubers if/when they land in a real metagame. Love the Garchomp redemption arc, very interesting with that distribution and mono dragon typing. They’re all pretty interesting.

I’ve always loved Magearna since getting the original/poke ball form in the SuMo games but have wished she was more useful…. I am so hyped!
