Ash has no idea that Brock is in love with him. Despite this, Brock continues to travel with Ash knowing that he will never know or ever be able to return the feelings that Brock holds for him. He took his opportunity to remove himself from the crew when Ash and Misty left for the orange islands. However, knowing that Tracy was with Ash day and night made Brock’s rage explode with jealousy so he joined back with Ash as soon as possible.

People may say “Brock shows interest in every single woman he comes across, why would he do this if he was in love with Ash?” If you’ve seen the show and actually absorbed its content, themes, and really dove into the subtle character work that the Pokemon anime provided on a weekly basis, instead of mindlessly watching it while eating your cereal while half asleep, you would have seen that this was an obvious case of masking. Why do you think he goes so over the top with every woman? He’s trying too hard on purpose. Brock can’t stand the thought of a woman actually falling in love with him and having to reject her so coming on too strong accomplishes two things: He can continue digging himself deeper into his facade while making sure nobody else gets hurt. The only person who gets hurt is Brock. And the most terrible thing about it all, is that he’s doing it to himself.

Brock says that he wants to be a Pokemon breeder, but truly the only breeding he wants – nevermind, I’m done typing. Don’t ask me to answer any more of these questions

I was reading the first two paragraphs and thought, “Oh, young love story,” and was about to say happy Pride Month until I read the last paragraph…

Cheers,

Hmm. Young person in their prime. Left to take care of 9 siblings!? Yeah not even a question.

Wow, the professor is good friends with lots of people… especially the young boys who eventually become his assistants and older women. He was pretty disinterested with his old student, Professor Elm, once Ash put them back in contact though, wonder why?

Brock knows why.

Ooooof!

Wasn’t Brock taking care of his siblings when Ash first found him?
I’m sure he’d be a great dad.

How do we know Ivy is still… Alive? :skull:
