Poor guy, maybe one of the most forgettable Pokemon I don’t think they have almost any cards after them probably would be a really easy pokemon to species collect for, it’s a cool pokemon design for a fish

This guy definitely is one of my favorite dragon pokemon that I don’t see many people talking about, (I like his design so much more then charizard even if he looks like a digimon)

I think a lot of the forgetable Pokemon are just random pokemon without evolutions

If you strip away the attention paid to all eeveelutions generally, Flareon receives almost none at all. It seems to only exist in the Pokemon universe as part of the eevee collective, and not an independent Pokemon with thoughts, feelings, and aspirations.

We just don’t see enough of this guy. It’s like they forget he exists sometimes.

  • Celebi: should totally be a Fairy/Grass type by now.
  • Blastoise: Charizard is cool and all, but come on… Blastoise is way more badass and original!
  • Legendary Beasts: feels like no one is collecting their cards, even though they’re amazing. Honestly, some of the most beautiful legendary Pokémon out there.
  • Ho-Oh: its design is so much better than Lugia’s, which just looks too plain…
  • Alolan Exeggutor: people are just salty that Charizard isn’t a Dragon type, so they hate on Alolan Exeggutor—when this mon is actually awesome!
  • Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Zeraora: they’re like the forgotten ones, even though their designs are seriously top tier.
  • Marshadow: like, come on… it deserves way more love
  • Espeon: better than Umbreon.

Battle exclusives, shit cards or no cards at all, zero representation in general. Some of the best Pokemon designs, about to be forgotten for another generation that features their mechanic as 99,97% of the attention goes to Bloated Waifu, Aura Dog, Shadow TAG $tonks and Mega Charizard Z.

There are a few, but none more than:

Tyrantrum

A damn dragon type T. Rex Pokémon; the real life inspiration behind kaiju that inspired Pokémon from the beginning, and they do practically nothing with it since being introduced.

Excluded from the current gen games and locked behind DLC for the previous gen.

Had three cards since 2013 - a rare non-holo, one holo and a regular promo EX, all with mediocre art.

Who hurt you, Nintendo?

Baby Pokémon. It’s good to see we finally had some cards for most baby Pokémon, but they’re still severely lacking.

Meganium doesn’t receive nearly enough attention from Pokemon as a starter. Its last tcg appearance was 8 years ago in Lost Thunder. 2025 does look to be bright for Meganium with Chikoritas presence in Legends ZA. But it’s still not enough.

That Pokémon is so underrated! Hopefully Pokémon Z-A will give it the recognition it deserves

A ghost/ fire beast Pokemon. First off is incredibly cool. Add designed like a clown and it’s most powerful attack involved blowing up its own head! Why does this have a mere handful of cards and only a game cameos

When was the last time you thought about Cryogonal?

Just look at it! Nobody I know appreciates this cool guy like I do.

The Torterra disrespect is real when compared to the other Gen 4 starters in the TCG.

Torterra only has 12 different arts within the TCG. And until Temporal Forces, hadn’t had a higher rarity price since DPPT.

Inferape has 16 different arts. It got a 3rd Lv X during the DPPT era when the others only got 2. And most recently, a stamped promo and an IR for Twilight Masquerade.

Empoleon has 20 different art… It has a BREAK card, shiny secret rare, 4 different V cards including an Alt Art. Unbelievable
