State a strong opinion about something without research or evidence. Especially if it’s something contrary to consensus. Then be really stubborn about it and it’ll really get the stew going.
I think asking it like QotD feels a little bit empty since there is no passion for the topics beings discussed. This thread reflects how passionate some discussions can get.
From what I’ve seen, having an unwarranted superiority complex or just generally being a dick is enough. Some examples:
Brag about your sales or acquisitions without any clear evidence
Shoot down the excitement of others
Die on the hill of an obviously opinion-based argument
Reply to people with incoherent drivel in an agressive manner
You know, just the general things that would classify you as a jackass by most metrics. Sorry, I got harsh on this one. But it does irritate me that I have to scroll through this type of nonsense from time to time to get to positive content.
