It’s unfortunate we are running out of time to witness Kyogre IR, would’ve looked so nice especially with connected artwork.

the Crobat being SIR makes it 10x better under good lighting, with the sparkly pattern on the eyes etc.

This Poliwhirl is too good. I really enjoy the IRs that involve water

Shoutout to Dragonair and Marill

Regular AR/IR:

SAR/SIR:

Honorable mentions:

AR: Dragonair from 151 and Ninetales from Ruler of the Black Flame.
SAR: Ethans Ho-Oh from Heat Wave Arena

But to be completely fair, there are really a lot of very good AR/SAR cards.

Great question with many superb responses already!
As tough as it is to choose, I’d have to go with the Shrouded Fable Houndoom;

Hard to pick just a single card. The Poliwhirl mentioned by @ascendedbidoof and Groudon mentioned by @Taigataipan are among my favorites.

This Gardevoir also comes to mind. All three beautiful artworks with a lot of details.

I also really like these story-telling evolution lines:

Greetz,
Quuador

As tends to be the case with such a cultured group, my favs have already been picked, so here are two I think deserve more love.

Lots of good ones! I can’t decide, so here are my top 3 in no order. But even so, there are many others I love.

I chose these 3 because(while they were very inexepensive) I couldn’t help buying tons of each of these.

I love Kuroimoris artwork. His(?) shiny Gardevoir is my only PSA card. But Articuno is very close.

One of these maybe

Not the most popular Pokemon, but I love these ones!

Has been this since it got released, even though i have to say it got a bit more weird aura after it got hit by the modern hype. Doesn’t take anything away from it but just adds a bit of weirdness

This artwork reminds me of a (very) short story written by Lovecraft: Nyarlathotep.

It made me start a special collection I might post in the future.
