PSA to open UK submission office

https://www.psacard.com/articles/articleview/15630/psa-announces-london-area-expansion-for-2026

This is huge news for those of us based in the UK. PSA are going to directly manage submissions from the UK taking away the complexities of submitting yourself or the risks associated with using a middleman (compulsory fuck you ludkins).

I do feel for those that currently make a living off helping others submit, but overall this is a massive improvement for UK collectors!

Wow finally, I never thought I would see the day. :pikalaugh:

We have been neglected for SO long, I can’t wait to finally grade some of my vintage boosters!

thank god. I’m interested to see the prices, surely it cant be as bad as the crazy price subcenter and other middlemen charge.

Overall im just glad to not have to use any middleman soon. It’s just an added step, more hands on the cards, more chance for things to go wrong…

Really excited for this. We might still use The Sub Center for bulk orders to save time with the submission form, but being able to ship newer cards or more premium things quickly to a UK address is a huge win and very much welcomed.

My big hope is that this is the early signs of a UK-based grading in the near future. It took PSA Japan roughly four years between getting their submission office and their local grading facility opening, so there is definitely still hope on that front!

Actual good news!

I can only see this being a good thing for us. Prices might even be a little less shit over here if middlemen can be cut out and obscene shipping costs aren’t so bad.

But time will tell with pricing, either way I’d be excited to get some of my childhood cards encapsulated, even just as Authentic.

I can’t believe it’s finally happening. We’ve been wanting/needing this for far too long.

Congrats UK folks. What country is next? China or an European country?

There’s not really a need for a second European facility besides the German one. So China would be more likely, or perhaps one of the Gulf countries.

I’m very excited about this news!

I wonder if in person drop offs will be allowed or not as it only mentions sending to them by using standard domestic postage.

Also this is not a new price list for PSA UK however, it’s an old price list they gave for a London card show in May. Just posting it here to compare prices when they release them later on to see how they will compare.

A few things have already changed since on PSA’s website like Value Bulk and Value a few $ more.

Fantastic for the UK scene; living in the GLA in-person drop off/collection would be nice, save a lot of shipping costs and stress. Guess I don’t have to cancel that Collectors Club anymore…!

I’d be surprised if Subcenter could match PSA’s direct UK pricing.

My guess is they’ll be more expensive, but offering to do submission admin to justify the higher price
