PSA membership. Is it worth it?

I’ve got about 50 cards I want to send to PSA . Is it worth it to send them as a guest or do you get a better deal is you join. Al the cards will be less than the 500 max value. Any comment will be appreciated…thanks

The collectors club costs $150 per year and lets you grade bulk at $19 per card.

Compared to grading at the Value rate of $25 per card you would save $6 per card graded. Meaning that the collectors club subscription pays for itself after grading 25 cards

150+(50x19) = $1100
Vs
50x25 = $1250

Also you get atleast one free promo card through the PSA magazine that has been worth more than the membership itself.

Surprised the shoe nerds don’t get a PSA membership just to make a couple of bucks on the promo cards

If you’re in the USA I would just use PC Sports Cards at $17 a pop for TCG

Thanks buddy. How does getting a promo card work? I had the membership way back and never got a promo card. Is that a recent perk?

Something new the past 12-18 months. I think next month will be the 3rd promo (One Piece TCG) that they will distribute with the magazine in the past 14 months

Also, it’s kinda silly, people pay $10-$15 for the magazine itself. Granted selling 1 single magazine on ebay nets you like $2, haha

you can write it off as an expense so yes

also pretty sure u can resell the pokemags for more than the cost of the membership :rofl: and it also comes with cardladder if you are into that

I’ve got my cards in the fanatics vault. I checked their members available grading and you can do bulk PSA grading through fanatics for 16.99 per card…max value $200. 45 day turn around. One time $3 per card valued at less than $50 if you don’t sell them within 30 days.
