PSA 10 Unlimited Base Charizard Price?

I think so, yes. Possibly some slightly sub $2k.

I wondered the same about 1st ed 10 with pwcc having 2 for sale, but one vanished. lol Then again I don’t think we would have seen sub $20k on that…

2k for an unlim psa 10 zard… LOVELY timring as i just popped past the post office with my psa submission to be sent off, containing a potential 10 unlim zard.

Seems like a little less atm due to the “flooding” of them that just got sold. I’d reckon that prices will stabilize around 1.7k for a while. Until the next auction for one comes up.

FASCINATING results with the PWCC auctions tonight

Both unlimited 10s ended at $1525

AND

The shadowless 9 ended at $1525

I believe @silentoaths foresaw this very occurence (and probably would have never predicted that it would happen this quickly!!)

edit: oh yeah, and how about that PSA 9 1st Ed for 6k! Holy moly!

I only knew it would because I followed @smpratte guidelines older, rarer, minter, better. While a psa 10 unlimited is minter it’s not older or rarer than a shadowless. Currently they both are almost dead even as far as psa population but unlimited is so much more saturated than shadowless. The point I get from the saying older, rarer, minter, better is that if you match two cards such as these two together you have to look at which one is older, which one is rarer, which one is minter, then make a tally of those 3 things and you’ll see it’s 2 to 1 in favor of shadowless 9 making it better. You are right though, I did not expect it to happen this soon. Otherwise I would of bought 1 before the auction instead of another card I just bought. I don’t feel bad though I’m perfectly happy with my all 9.5 sub grade unlimited zard. Like to have different cards since I’m just starting out

That’s awesome. Even if the unlimited 10s go back to 2k, which they will eventually, Shadowless will follow along nicely. Perhaps even beat Unlimited once and for all.. All it takes is a Shadowless 10 going for a high price.

Closing like items at the same time can be a killer for the seller. If pwcc had stuck with just one it probably would have closed well over 2000.

Damn, I must be late but my god the unlimited 10s are going to crazy amounts now too?!?!

*quickly takes down PSA 8 unlimited base Zard off market*

Yep, I had 7 items on PWCC last night and 6/7 went at or above what i projected. The one that didn’t was a 1st ed PSA 10 japanese crystal Kingdra that went for $117 :slightly_frowning_face: and it was a duplicate. Thank god I didn’t send my Nidoking too

That is insane how much that price has jumped in just a couple of months! Do you reckon it’s all legit bids? I’m interested to see if the other psa 9 they are auctioning finishes close to the same price!

I’m pretty sure they are. It’s the rest of the market balancing out with the jump in psa 10 prices. As 10s become unavailable , 9s become what buyers go for, thus increasing prices through time to balance everything

Agreed. I believe there were 3 that ended yesterday? And another one ending 48 hours after. With such availability, prices definitely took a hit. I also think if it was a worldwide auction, prices could’ve been higher than just being limited to US? (Unsure if it’s North America or US only)

They’re worldwide, I could bid for it. Seems like all the unlimited holos psa 10 didn’t do so well in recent auctions too. Legendary psa 10 wasn’t so good as well. 1st ed base rares also dropped.

I think the market is taking a breather after what is frankly a meteoric and unsustainable pace of increasing over the past few months

Ah that’s my bad then. Was talking to someone from the UK recently and they said they couldn’t participate in PWCC auctions due to restrictions.

I completely agree with that but the rise in price is meteoric!! I checked a message I sent to a friend back in late August, I was pleased because one sold for 3k usd then (I own a copy) in less than three months one has sold for double the price :scream: I just wonder how long this kind of rise in prices is going to be sustainable, will it start to level out soon? The thing is there are still auctions of mint 9 1st edition base charizards at the moment every couple of months or so, I feel like they will start to dry up soon so we can only expect new record sales.
