I think people ignore the fact that high grade doesn’t=rare
Sure it’s a rare and cool card but there are a LOT of cards that are more rare

do you think a black label zard would equal or exceed this card in value.
If the gold label there are 3 of them and estimated value is 750k-1mil
and black label would make this a 1 of 1 in pop report the same way this is
i guess though, thats how market views these cards in rarity
Mickey mantle rookie psa10 is never available for sale. Its been decades since the last one was made available
but the card itself is not that rare in the scheme of things. 1,630 graded examples by psa
but since there are only 3 psa10s the card is valued at 8 figures
Is psa10 lugia 1st edition really worth 25x more than psa9 ? Same card and some of the 9s look more like 10s and some of the 10s look like 9s lol
And yet there is a 25x multiple premium if there is a 10 grade in the slab

The market’s weird and no I don’t think a zard will ever exceed a popular trophy card as I know how much people are valuing the PSA 10 at 5 million but I personally value it at a raw illustrator in good condition covered in plastic

Gary said he was offering 750k himself in an interview but couldnt find the person. This is when he found out a 3rd was graded before he knew logan paul was the one who graded the card. He was desperately searching for the person with a 750k open offer
And im sure it would do equally as well if not better in the open market. Cant believe he was the only person in the world willing to offer that kind of money
compounded by the fact that logan told friends he would go up to 1million if gary was willing to offer him 1 of his 2 BGS 10s.
these are 2 two examples, but these are also the only 2 ppl who have ever had the card so absolutely they are solid
also dont know why you guys are acting like this is a crazy number. If a new cert psa10 has comps well over 300k (pop 125) but a better condition pop 3 BGS cant 2x? lol wut

Many trophy cards (Art academy, Zorua contest etc…) got ‘updated’ with CGC lately. That’s laughable.
I believe it’s here as well.

That is laughable as a 10. Sorry … even though it could be a 9.51 or something, I would 100 times prefer to have a satisfying 9,49 than a disappointing 10.

Bumping this thread as this came up on my youtube feed. I have no idea the validity of this channel or statement but they claim that Logan has verbally agreed to sell the card to someone in Australia for $9.5 million AUD.
