@milhouse This is one of those silly situations in which the population report is split. It’s divided between these two pages.

@dragontype As my post above shows, yes there is. Just one. The card is owned by an investor, not a true collector, from what I understand.

Anyone gonna throw down some guesses on final price? Could be fun. I say $14k.
Also, this could be in the garbage thread as well. “Our offering shines as bearing the highest-grade yet certified by PSA for the card. The artwork is by Atsuko Nishida.” I mean I know these guys don’t do Pokemon much… but being some of the most reputable auction houses in the world you think they could get their stuff right… PWCC did it last calling a 1st ed zard BGS 9 a pop 1 none higher.
The investor who purchased the PSA 10 sold it off to some oil person.
Didn’t PSA 10 illustrator get regraded multiple times as well?

The only true population report number is the one for 10s.

I sold multiple PSA 9 examples of this card. Here is the video where I discuss the price I can disclose. For those who don’t want to watch, a PSA 9 sold for $50,000. Another copy sold for more.
The 10 was indeed a re-grade. I believe it took multiple attempts, which is precisely why I personally never purchased the card.
Also, if you think you can purchase an authentic illustrator on the open market for under 20k, you need to adjust your clock. An authentic ungraded example sold last month for much more than 20k. Both of my PSA 9’s also sold well above that price point, and they were in smaller markets than today.
