Anyone have their finger on the pulse with the latest price these two will set you back?
There was a Hitmonchan that sold on May 10th on ebay. The asking price was $5,900 USD lol but best offer was accepted. I would imagine in the neighborhood of $2-$3k USD depending on how strong of a grade it is.

I know of two Hitmonchan sales, one for $5k and the other for $3.5k.
@pokemonrevolution had a Chansey for sale on eBay that’s no longer for sale. He may be willing to share the sale price with you.

I see Hitmonchan in the 4-5k range a lot. Some in the past 2 years have dipped in the 3k range, but the card bounces back.

Thick Stamp Chansey sold for roughly 4k $ in Germany.

A Hitmonchan sold in Europe for $3900 a month or so ago from the same seller who had a Chansey.

As someone who now has his complete collection and is neither buying nor selling, I can say that getting two thick stamp versions of these cards was incredibly hard, and I think they’re easily undervalued in relation to other holos in the set given how difficult they can be to acquire.
A little tidbit, I won my thick Hitmonchan in an auction for $3350 (this was about 10 months ago), which was incredibly lucky on my part because I put in a last-second bid for $5200.

A thin stamp Chansey sold for $4,950 just recently.

Pretty sure the Chansey did sell for $4,950, yes. The original asking price was $5,450 but the buyer and seller agreed to the price of $4,950. pokemonprice.com also noted this listing.
