Does anyone know if any more of the Professor program stamped Voltorbs from 151 were given out to staff at Worlds? I haven’t seen any mention of it or any crop up on eBay.
I did see a post with these cards. They were given out to staff at world’s.

I’ve seen a few go up for a ridiculous amount
When they first popped up on eBay in June there were listed between 300-400 bucks. I recently saw a couple more list at 850 OBO and they sold. Now I see one listed at 1k. People that want an expert master set super supreme are gonna want the card so it’s sadly pricing out most standard collectors. The 1k price tag is definately extreme given just the stamp, but 151 is so popular that the demand is incredibly high.
My only question is will there ever be a larger mass release? Since it is handed out by staff it would seem the answer is no? I certainly won’t be grabbing it anytime soon.
Yeah I’ve seen the price now and it is crazy. I imagine that as we get more events and as judges get duplicates we’ll see a lot more of them and hopefully the price drops. But I don’t think they ever release professor program cards widely to everyone so it will always be expensive. I’m lucky enough to have bought one for £300 (the most I’ve ever spent on a single card) which is still crazy and at the time I felt crazy doing that but now I just feel lucky that I can complete my set.
More 151 Voltorb promos were given out at LAIC this weekend. Seems likely more will be distributed at EUIC and NAIC next year but TBC
