Very likely the Professor Cup promo for the 25/26 season. Nice step up from the Community Center last year. No sign/pictures of Top 8, Staff etc yet.

Professor Cup promos traditionally have not variants like the Voltorb other than the usual Top 8, Staff and Champion stamps which been common in the past.
@Vertemes Nobody knows, it would be a faff to tally all the participants from the different events. Expect around 1000-2000 participants in Professor Cups each season for the regular non-stamped promos.

I see the top 8, top 4, finalist, and no stamp version of Friends in Paldea floating around. I am seeing them for sale mostly in Europe and Canada, very few in USA. Is this typical? Also, how long do you think these will continue to be distributed? Thanks!

Yep these were added to the Professor Store. Will be more common than say the new Judge DRI promo which is only from seminars for example.

Can confirm these have been distributed for Professor Cup events (mostly in-person ones) this season onwards, replacing the Community Center TWM promos we’ve had for the past few years.
Also important to note these should drop in price quite quickly as higher ranking professors can organise regional/smaller Professor Cup tournaments in stores/shops as opposed to before they were hosted by TPCi and Regional Championship/IC organisers.

In a change to the previous Professor Cup promo cards, it looks like “Finalist” stamps are also being awarded to the runner-up in each game (TCG, GO and VG) at Professor Cups this season. eBay Link
Also spotted the “Staff” version. Each event is likely to only have around 3-5 staff helping so will be equally as rare as the “Champion” ones in the future. eBay Link

The singular card that pretty much eliminated the chance of people master setting Prismatic or Eevee cameos.
I will likely only get the non stamped one, cosmos reverse is my favorite holo pattern. Thanks for sharing updates, as always

As mentioned above, we should be getting at least another 10 months of Professor Cups handing these out, maybe even two years total like the previous promo. Be interesting to see where the prices/availability are next year.
This on top of paradise resort was the straw that broke the camels back for me
