Hi Guys, it’s been a few years since I’ve posted, I think this place had a different name back then! I’m think about selling my collection slowly, and I’ve got some Daisuki Promo cards that are sealed in the original Daisuki club leaflets, all in mint condition.
Master’s Scroll (55/L-P)
Prime Raichu (44/L-P)
Darkrai Cards (21/L-P)
Pikachu Set (19/L-P)
Not sure of the price for the lot, also I could crack them open and send them for PSA, pretty confident of 10’s, but never a guarantee. What prices could I be looking at?
In the last year ive sold a psa 10 pikachu for £70 and a sealed darkrai and cresselia set for £85. The raichu is worth around £300-400 i would guess at but i havent seen many for sale lately.
Personally, I do not think PSA 10 graded would we worth less than sealed in original leaflets, but I think sealed in original leaflets are pretty much the next best thing next to PSA 10.
PSA 10s are not guaranteed, and currently you are in the position of having two types of customers: customers who want PSA condition cards (since they can crack those themselves and grade them), and people who want to purchase cards that are in its original condition.
As soon as you open the cards, you essentially can only sell to PSA collectors, lowering your amount of customers.
Of course, everything simply boils down to price!
Note that some of the cards you mentioned are also pretty rare, so pricing becomes more abstract since there’s not too many copies out there.
In relation to market value, the PSA 10 Master Scroll is worth more. This is mainly due to the fact its not a guaranteed 10. If you look at the Pop Report. Out of the total 35 copies submitted there are 14 psa 8-9 grades and 21 psa 10 grades.
Great Advice, really makes sense. I guess I’ll put them up with clearest pictures showing that these cards have VERY high chances of PSA 10’s, but to the other point about no guarantee of a PSA 10, I think it all points to selling sealed. Thanks
