Having a quick look, how much would you say it is worth?
The seller is asking 480 USD. Is that fair?
Base Set, Jungle, Fossil and Team Rocket are almost complete. Take in mind that there are a lot of shadowless and 1st edition. There are also some CD Promos and Vending Machine.
The seller says that around 90% is NM the rest EX condition. I’ll be having a closer look on Tuesday though.
I think 480 USD might be a bit high, a lot of the Base Set Holos are Shadowless which is a positive factor in considering a gamble. But the 90% are NM is a worry for that. If you just want to buy the cards for your own collection then it might be worth it if you have confidence that they are actually NM. If you are looking to buy it with potential re-sale I’d be wary.
I am certainly no expert in this type of valuation so maybe some others can give better onions.
Agree with house, a little high but if you can confirm the valuable cards are in fact near mint it could be worth it. Having the chance to inspect them personally will be a great help.
Exactly what Milhouse said. If you plan to resell for a profit - I don’t think there’s much (if any) left at $480. If you want them for your personal collection it’s not a bad buy if all of the important ones are NM (Shadowless Base Set & 1st Ed Jungles).
No way to give you an accurate value.
If the Holos are ex which means scratched up and the commons are NM then 200.00 may be high. And if the shadowless are that bad then they’re not worth the gas to drive over.
