I wouldnt pay more than what a 1st ed blaines charizard goes for in a 10. Its too niche and the sealed boxes barely have any premium themselves.
is there a way to tell if your box or pack has the corrected charizard?

Iirc there is a video of rusty pulling it out of a blister, which was made very late in the print run. In that video it was hypothesised that all packs in that printrun would have been corrected (if it was a charizard in the pack of course).

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but it seems like this card has taken off. Sales went for <$2k, to most recently a CGC 10 went for $4k, now the only ones listed in CGC 10 or PSA 10 are all $5k+ each. Seems like people caught onto the fact that supply is very, very low for a vintage charizard card.
Any desirable vintage card (especially in a PSA 10) has at least doubled in the past 6 months. This trend is not exclusive to this card.

Best offers so I dont know what they actually paid
with that said, the premium for corrected version is enormous
Found the PSA 9 copy on Card Sales - 130 Point
That site is good for displaying final sale prices for cards where best offer is enabled.

wow but 9.4k is huge
even the first edition psa10 only sells for between $5k - $6k
The unlimited version last sold for $1,830 in a psa10. so corrected version got over a 5x premium
I’m glad this card is taking off, Blaine’s Charizard is the most neglected Zard in the WoTC block. The new prices are wild though.
