price check for PSA 7/8 1st Ed base zard

Woah where and how?!

not really a shock, this particular card skyrocketed too much for an ugly grade (7). I value these less than base psa 10 unlim zards so it’s comforting knowing the unlim 10s outperformed 5k at least (what i paid for the 1st 7).

got the 1st 7 through facey.

You think 7 is an ugly grade it’s legit near mint. Literally close to being mint condition. 7’s are a great bargain imo. And in the long run, I personally believe the 7 1st will outvalue the 10 unlimited (not that I desire them to skyrocket).

Looks like two 7s, from two separate sellers, sold for a little over $7500 each!

bought one for $5,000 2 days ago.

Was it $5000 exactly?

And that’s a great price for you!—well below market even a few days ago, when I believe the last few had sold for $6500.

A 7 definitely *can* be an ugly grade (even 8 or higher can be!) such as when the holo is all scratched up and there’s also a lot of whitening. But it can also be quite a nice grade (not much difference with a 10, in my view!) if it has a clean holo, minimal spots of whitening, and is only slightly off center, for example.

I hope so this is causing me way too much anxiety lol… however i doubt it with the usa going right back into quarantine… was hoping for a little break with people getting back to work and summer

At the beginning of April 7s were hitting a record of 3k then thru May 5k and now June 7k. 8s in April were 4k, May hit 6k and now we are at 8k. This current market seriously scares me…

Wake me up when 8s are back down to 5k. Or just let me sleep for another 7 years when I plan to retire and cash out for about 18-20k. Or 3.5k. That would be ok, too.
