lol I was getting to these, but glad you’re excited about this too!
Starting on October 18th, the Tottori Sand Dunes Visitor Center is doing another postcard release. If it’s anything like the previous one, these will be sold in person only
Quoting an article I read on these postcards to make it easier: ”Each card is approximately 10cm long and 15cm wide and costs 200 yen including tax. The sand is glued together. No reservations are required. The prefecture has formed a “Sand Alliance” with the Jordan Pavilion at the Osaka-Kansai Expo. The prefecture will receive the red sand, which can be used for cards until the end of March next year. For inquiries, please contact the center (0857-22-0021).” Source for quote and image
Although it looks like it’s two postcards, it’s only one. The one on the left is layered with the Red Sand from the Jordan Pavilion at the Osaka-Kansai Expo"
From October 2nd to 26th, Pokémon opened a pop-up store at Yeomiji Botanic Garden, Jeju Island, Korea. The theme of this pop-up store is “Capsule Island” where Pikachu and its friends explore the Jeju Island sea. One of the items you could purchase at this pop-up store was a set of 15 postcards that came in a magnetic book.
This one slipped through the cracks as I don’t keep up with much Pokémon news outside of the US and JP, If anyone else happens to run across international postcard releases for this year, please let me know
This release is a bit more exciting. Starting today, November 1st, the Sagamihara City Museum began hosting the Pokémon Astronomical Observatory exhibition. During this exhibition, there will be many unique Pokémon items for sale, including eight postcards.
I wasn’t able to find any official source/announcement on this postcard, but from I’ve read on the Mercari and YA listings, it came with the Toys R us holiday catalog Source
