PokéPark Kanto's Kayatsuri Town and photo props (instead of promos)

Seems to be a method of gearing away from mob frenzies over normal promos. What do you think? Will you collect?

“Different Pokémon are handed out each day, but on the day of the preview, they were Pikachu and Psyduck.”

“By finding the Pokémon card (in this case, Pikachu) in the park and taking a photo of it in the frame, you can take home a commemorative photo of your own Pokémon card and the photo prop itself as a souvenir.”

“What’s more, if you show the photo you took to the staff at the photo props stall, you’ll receive a Pokémon card-themed sticker!”

That is so fun and wholesome

Two more Pikachu ‘TCG’ items to add to my nice-to-have WTB list.

Fun idea tbh, of having a Jumbo card with open frame to take pictures of yourself inside the theme park.

I have seen large cards without artworks for picture frame stands, but no Jumbo card like that. Here some examples of those:

I see the park opens on February 5th?

Itd be amazing if they did this but also a contest like pokemon snap. Best picture gets made into a card for official promos.

As long as they print enough copies that would be a neat idea.

This is actually an amazing idea and so cool, specially with family and kids. Some of the example pictures look so well shot. Thanks for sharing this info.

Cheers!

This is a super cute idea!

I wonder if the photo prop cards are actual cards with just the artbox removed?

Psyduck and Tyranitar:

And although Pikachu is already shown above, Vulpix wasn’t yet (I think Pikachu & Vulpix were given on the first day  ):

Also, for anyone else curious about the inside of the park itself, this video popped up in my YT suggestions just yet. (She doesn’t mention anything about these cards / stickers, though. :person_shrugging: )

  • Psyduck
  • Vulpix
  • Pikachu
  • Luxray
  • Eevee
  • Meowth
  • Tyranitar
  • Espurr

Am I missing something or is there no Fighting-Type frame?

These are indeed the ones I’ve seen available for sale on Mercari and alike thus far. I’m pretty sure a new pair is used every week or so in the Kanto PokéPark, so we’ll likely see a Fighting-Type and Steel-Type eventually. :person_shrugging:

I’ll try to post the new ones ever few weeks as I’ve done above, so this thread will have an overview of all of them.
