Thank you, brother! About 10-12 years ago, I had some sealed VS Series packs fall into my lap for an amazing deal and, being a teenager, couldn’t resist cracking them. Thankfully, I had the good sense to keep the cards very well protected, so I’m now sending them off to PSA in batches. There are a few more VS nonholos in the next submission, and I’m banking on 10s for all of them.

I got confirmation back from Ludkins that this was, in fact, a bulk submission. It was shipped from Ludkins to PSA on 8/22/20 (arrived at PSA on 8/28), and I got them back on 2/16/21 for a door-to-door turnaround time of approximately six months. However, the Ludkins rep I spoke noted that “for a bulk order to arrive back that quickly from that date is very, very lucky, and that PSA doesn’t process submissions in order.”
Basically, (1) my submission really was a bulk order but (2) don’t get your hopes up.

Thanks for the update and clarity. I wasn’t planning to send anything to them in the near future, I’ll just be going through BGS and CGC at this point. Disappointing because PSA is what I like and collect, mainly. I just can’t bring myself to give that shithole of a company any more of my money. Not processing tiered orders in the order received makes absolutely no sense. I’m 10 months in from the last time I saw my cards.

@icollectr, CGC may be better on turnaround times, but I think BGS is even worse than PSA with bulk submissions. I’ve heard that people still have orders from summer 2019.
Finally got the rest of my stuff back! Since this will invariably come up, the submission was bulk through Ludkins, submitted early October 2020. Yes, I know I am lucky, yes, I am positive it was bulk. Anyway:
Pic is irritatingly low res, so: Top row is all 10s; Shaymin Lv.X is a 10; Vileplume through Lance’s Dragonite are 9s; Dark Arbok is an 8.5 (lol); Celebi * through Mewtwo are 8s; Chansey, Clefairy, Metapod, Pokémon Trader, and Nats Charizard are 7s; 1st Ed Nidoking is a 6; Alakazam and Zapdos are 5s.
Total breakdown is eight 10s, five 9s, one 8.5 (come on), ten 8s, five 7s, one 6, and two 5s. This return seemed heavily skewed toward 7s and 8s and stingy on the 9s, which is irksome. Also peeved about the 8.5… just give me an 8, honestly. Extremely disappointed that the Nats Charizard only pulled a 7, since it was flawless to my eye, and somewhat frustrated that none of the Shadowless got 9s or 10s. COMPLETELY perplexed about the Alakazam and Zapdos.
However, I am pleasantly surprised by some grades! Thrilled that the Split Earth Politoed holo snagged a 10, and quite happy that the Celebi * and Aquapolis holos got an 8 and 9s respectively. Overall, can’t complain.

Thanks a bunch! Plenty more where that come from, one of these days. Ampharos is one of my favorite Pokémon, so that’ll probably be remaining in my personal collection indefinitely. Feels even cooler that I pulled all the VS stuff myself.
